While Climate, Environment and Nature (CEN) remains the CLEAN Helpdesk’s core technical assistance offer, we recognise the importance of embedding GEDSI through our work. We understand that for action on CEN to be effective and sustainable, it must also be accessible, inclusive, and empowering. In this edition, we share insights into how we are mainstreaming GEDSI through our technical assistance requests and our programming.

In this edition, we explore how strengthening climate finance (ICF) in programme design and delivery can enhance climate impact and value for money. The CLEAN Helpdesk supports FCDO and other government departments to mainstream climate across programmes—helping teams unpack ICF requirements, integrate indicators, and evidence impact. Read the latest newsletter to see how the CLEAN Helpdesk can support your programme in embedding climate ambition and accountability.
